Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cleveland Browns: Aaron Rodgers Over 179.5 Passing Yards (Alt) (-357)

Odds correct at time of publishing

The Pittsburgh Steelers are taking on the Cleveland Browns at home, and Aaron Rodgers is looking strong as he leads the offense. With his experience and skill, he has a good chance to rack up passing yards against a Browns defense that has struggled at times. The odds show that our numbers really like this pick, making it a strong favorite. The biggest risk here is that both teams are pretty evenly matched, so things can change quickly. Still, with Rodgers in the game and the Steelers playing at home, it feels like he'll clear 179.5 passing yards. It's a bet worth considering.

Buffalo Bills vs Baltimore Ravens: Derrick Henry Over 1.5 Receptions (+148)

Odds correct at time of publishing

The Buffalo Bills face the Baltimore Ravens, and this matchup could be interesting for Derrick Henry. The Ravens' defense has been solid, but they might struggle to cover him in the passing game because he can slip into space. With the Bills' offense looking to keep the pressure on, Henry could easily snag a couple of catches. Betting on him to have over 1.5 receptions feels like a good shot since our numbers say there's a strong chance. The most concrete risk here is that both teams are evenly matched, and the game could shift focus to other players. However, if Henry gets the opportunities, he could come through for you.

Detroit Lions vs Minnesota Vikings: Justin Jefferson Under 6.5 Receptions (-143)

Odds correct at time of publishing

For this game, we need Justin Jefferson to have fewer than 7 catches against the Detroit Lions. This is a strong pick because the Lions have a solid defense that can limit big plays, and they are at home, which usually gives them an extra boost. Plus, the Vikings have had some ups and downs in their passing game lately, which makes it tougher for Jefferson to find his rhythm. The biggest risk is that Jefferson is an elite receiver, so he can still make big plays even when the defense is tough. However, given how our numbers rate this matchup, it seems likely he will stay under that 6.5 mark tonight. Keep an eye on how things unfold, but this looks promising.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs Indianapolis Colts: Jonathan Taylor Over 29.5 Rushing Yards (Alt) (-417)

Odds correct at time of publishing

Jonathan Taylor is looking strong lately, and he's a big part of the Colts' offensive game. He's been running well, and that makes him a key player to watch against the Jaguars. With the Jaguars' defense having some trouble stopping the run, this could be a great spot for Taylor to rack up rushing yards. The bet is for Jonathan Taylor to get over 29.5 rushing yards. Our numbers think this is a strong pick, as he has a good chance to exceed that mark. The main risk is that both teams are pretty close in how they're playing right now, so it could be a tough matchup. Still, Taylor's talent and the Jaguars' defense give this bet a solid shot.

The Denver Broncos have shown some good offensive spark lately, and they're playing at home, which usually gives them a boost. The Kansas City Chiefs have a strong defense, but they also have a high-scoring offense that can put points on the board quickly. I like the bet for the Broncos to score over 24.5 points. The risk is that both teams are closely matched, so it could go either way. Still, with Denver's recent form and the crowd behind them, this could be a fun one to watch.

Miami Dolphins vs New England Patriots: Drake Maye Under 236.5 Passing Yards (-112)

Odds correct at time of publishing

Drake Maye has been up and down this season, and facing the New England Patriots' defense won't make it any easier. The Patriots have been better at stopping big plays through the air, and Maye has struggled when extra rushers come at him. With New England's defense putting pressure on quarterbacks about as often as Miami's, it might be tough for him to rack up passing yards. The Dolphins have also leaned more on their running game, which can limit Maye's chances to throw. Since both teams have had mixed success on grass, it makes this matchup pretty tight. With all this in mind, betting on Maye to stay under 236.5 passing yards feels like a solid choice, but there's always a chance he could surprise us.

Washington Commanders vs Philadelphia Eagles: Jayden Daniels Over 149.5 Passing Yards (Alt) (-417)

Odds correct at time of publishing

The odds for Jayden Daniels to throw over 149.5 passing yards look good. Our numbers see him as a strong favorite, which means he has a solid chance to hit that mark. The Commanders' defense has struggled against passing offenses, and Daniels has shown he can be effective when needed. One concern is that both teams are pretty evenly matched, which could lead to a closer game than expected. However, with Daniels' recent performance and the Commanders needing to rely on their passing game, this bet looks promising.

Quick answer

What are NFL picks?

NFL picks are model-generated predictions for NFL betting markets including moneyline (winner), spread (ATS), totals and player props. Bet Better makes its picks with a model that works out how often each result happens, compares that to the bookmakers' prices, and lists the bets where the price looks too generous, with the reasoning written in plain English on every pick.

What you get on this page

Every upcoming NFL game with predictions across all major markets. Expand any game to see picks ranked strongest first, with probability, best odds, and the model's full reasoning. For the highest-confidence shortlist only, use Picks. For player markets, jump to Props.

Probability Model

The model's estimated chance the outcome wins. A probability of 65% means the model thinks it wins 65 times in 100 equivalent scenarios.

Edge Value

The gap between model probability and the bookmaker's chance the price suggests from odds. A pick means the model thinks the true chance is higher than the price suggests.

Best Odds Market

The top available odds at the time of calculation. Odds move — always verify at your sportsbook before placing a bet.

NFL pick types — what's on this page?

Market reference
Market What it means Best used for
Moneyline Which team wins the game outright. Simple single bet or a low-risk parlay leg.
Spread (ATS) Win by more than the handicap margin. When one side is expected to dominate or the game should be close.
Totals Over or under the combined game score. Weather, game pace, defensive matchups and scoring trends.
Player Props Individual stats — passing, rushing, receiving, TDs. Exploit role changes, matchup edges or recent form streaks.

How to read NFL picks in 4 steps

  1. Find a game. Games are listed in chronological order. Tap "Show Picks" to expand markets and reasoning for that matchup.
  2. Check model probability. This is the model's estimated chance the outcome wins. Compare it against the chance suggested by odds to judge value yourself.
  3. Read the gap. A pick is stronger when the model's chance is clearly higher than the bookmaker's price suggests. The bigger that gap, the more the price is in your favour.
  4. Verify best odds. Odds displayed are a snapshot — always confirm at your sportsbook before placing. Line shopping across books on a strong pick makes a real difference to your long-run results.
Note: This page shows all model-generated NFL picks. For the curated shortlist of the day's strongest edges, use NFL Picks. All betting involves risk — always bet within your limits.
Data first

The model's chance, a value call, and best odds are shown for every pick — so you judge each selection on numbers rather than feel.

Checked every day

Our model checks every NFL game on the board each day and gives each pick its chance to win, logged before it starts.

NFL Picks FAQ

Quick answers
What are NFL picks?

NFL picks are our model's call on which side to back in an NFL game. The model reads past results and the current bookmaker prices, then names the side it rates best and says why in plain words.

What is the difference between NFL picks and NFL best bets?

This page is the full list, and best bets is the short list. Picks cover every NFL game on the card across every market, while best bets keeps only the ones the model rates strongest that day.

What types of NFL picks are available?

We post NFL picks on who wins, the line, total points, and player markets like passing yards, rushing yards and touchdowns. Game and player markets sit together inside each match, with the strongest pick at the top.

How often are NFL picks updated?

They refresh through the day, and again whenever team news or the bookmaker prices move. Later prices carry more information, so the list you see close to start time is the one to trust.

What makes something a pick here?

A pick is named when our model rates a side better than the bookmaker's price says. The wider that gap, the higher the confidence we show, and confidence is a lean over a long run of bets, never a promise on one game.

Can I use NFL picks as legs in parlays?

Yes, any pick on this page can be a leg in a parlay. Each extra leg makes the whole bet harder to land, so two or three strong legs beat a long list. For structured multi-leg recommendations with a combined chance shown, use the NFL Parlays page.

Does Bet Better guarantee NFL picks will win?

No, and nobody can. NFL picks are our best read of what is likely, and good picks still lose, so only ever stake money you can afford to lose. If gambling is affecting your health or finances, call the National Problem Gambling Helpline at 1-800-GAMBLER.

What time do NFL picks come out?

As soon as the day's games and prices are up. The list is rebuilt several times a day, and again close to start time when team news and prices move, so the version you see nearest kick-off is the one to read. Most of the card lands on the weekend, so that is when the page is busiest.

Do you pick every NFL game?

No. We only name a side when our model likes it more than the price suggests. Some games get nothing at all, and that is on purpose - a quiet day here means there was nothing worth backing, not that something is broken.

What does HIGH confidence mean?

We say it in words, not numbers. HIGH means our model likes the pick the most. LEAN means it likes it, but less. LONG-SHOT means a big price that wins less often and pays more when it lands. Confidence is how it should go over a long run of bets, never a promise on one game.

Do I have to pay to see the NFL picks?

The first pick in every game is free to read, with no signup. The rest unlock with a subscription. Either way every pick we publish is graded in public, wins and losses, on our results page.
