What is a unit?

A fixed percentage of your bankroll used as your standard stake — usually 1–3%. It keeps your sizing consistent so one bad night can't blow up your bankroll.

How big should a unit be?

Conservative ≈1%, standard ≈2%, aggressive ≈3%. Smaller units survive losing runs; larger units grow faster but risk ruin.

Should I increase my unit after a loss?

No. Chasing losses by raising your stake is the fastest way to bust a bankroll. Keep flat-staking your unit and recalculate only when your bankroll changes meaningfully.
