What is the ATP list?

It is the official ranking of players in men's tennis. ATP stands for the Association of Tennis Professionals. A higher rank gets a player into bigger events and easier early matches.

How do ATP rankings work?

Players earn points by winning matches at tournaments, and the biggest events pay the most. Most points drop off after 52 weeks, so a player has to keep winning to stay near the top.

How often do the ATP rankings change?

They change on Mondays, or when a two-week tournament ends. We check for a new version about twice a day and show the date on this page.
