Brooklyn Nets vs Oklahoma City Thunder : Brooklyn Nets 19.5 (-112)

Odds available at draftkings at time of publishing

There's a compelling case to back the Brooklyn Nets with a 19.5 point spread in their upcoming match against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Nets have been unstoppable at home, showcasing their offensive prowess by consistently outscoring their opponents. On the other side of the court, the Thunder's defense has been lackluster, particularly on the road, struggling to keep games competitive. The model prediction of a 15.89 point differential falls short of our spread, but when you factor in the Nets' offensive firepower and the Thunder's defensive woes, the additional points seem feasible. The implied probability of 52.9% also suggests that there's a better than even chance that the Nets will cover the spread. So, it makes sense to back the Nets in this matchup, as they have the potential to win by a significant margin, hence the 19.5 point spread.
