What is a same game multi?

A same game multi (a same game parlay in the US) joins two or more bets from one game into one bet, and every leg must win.

Example: Swans to win at $1.80 and a Swans forward to kick 2 or more goals at $2.20. Together that is about $3.96, so $10 would return about $39.60. If either leg loses, the whole $10 is gone.

Because the legs come from the same game, they are linked, so bookies adjust the price instead of just multiplying.

Every extra leg adds the bookie's cut again, so long multis cost more than they look.

As of 5 October, the bookies keep about $7 of every $100 bet on player bets across the games we track.
