What does a push mean in betting?

A push is a tie with the bookie: the result lands exactly on the line, so you get your stake back.

Example: You bet $25 on over 44 points and the final scores add up to 44. You get your $25 back, with no win and no loss.

Some Australian bookies call this a refund or a draw on the line.

In a multi, a pushed leg is usually removed and the rest of the multi stays on at a lower price.

As of 5 October, the bookies keep about $6 of every $100 bet on over/under totals across the games we track.
