What does a 60% chance to win mean?

It means that out of 10 games like this one, the team wins about 6 and loses about 4.

Example: The fair price for a 6-in-10 chance is about $1.67. Ten $10 bets at $1.67 that win 6 times give back about $100, so you break even. At $1.80 you'd come out ahead; at $1.50 you'd lose.

A 6-in-10 chance still loses 4 times in 10. Losing runs are normal.

On our pick pages we show chances in words: HIGH, LEAN or LONG-SHOT.

As of 5 October, the bookies keep about $5 of every $100 bet on who-wins bets across the games we track.
