How do I set a betting limit?

Every licensed Australian bookie must let you set a deposit limit in your account; pick a weekly amount you can afford to lose and set it before you bet.

Example: Set a limit of $50 a week. Once you have put in $50, the account won't take more until the next week starts.

Lowering a limit works straight away. Raising one only works after a waiting period, so it can't be undone in a hurry.

In the US, most licensed sportsbooks offer the same tool in their account settings.
