Brandon Miller is looking like a prime candidate to exceed 2.5 assists against the Portland Trail Blazers. Over the last five games, he's been averaging a solid 4.4 assists, with a slight uptick to 4.6 when playing away. This is particularly promising as he steps into a matchup with a Blazers team that has struggled to contain playmakers lately. Miller has been exceptionally reliable, hitting the over in 16 of his last 20 outings, including an impressive 10 of his last 11 away games. While he may have averaged just one assist against Portland in previous meetings, this is a different Hornets squad, and he's proven to be a key distributor in recent performances. Given his current form and the way he's connecting with teammates, it's hard to ignore the value in betting on him to dish out at least three assists tonight.
