Standard publisher licence
Version PL-2026-09 · Bet Better Pty Ltd (ABN 66 670 726 691), Melbourne, Australia ("Bet Better", "we"). You accept this licence when you pay for a Bet Better Data pilot, licence, season pass or history pack. It is the whole agreement; there is no separate contract to sign.
1. What you are licensing
Model outputs published through the Bet Better Data feed for the boards on your plan ("the Data"): projected spreads, totals, win probabilities, fair prices, market references, uncertainty estimates, versions, history and metrics files, in any format we deliver them.
2. What you may do
- Use the Data inside your own business: analysis, handicapping, tools, models, spreadsheets, broadcasts.
- Publish work you build on the Data (articles, picks, video, audio, email, social posts, on-air segments) provided it is your own analysis and carries the credit in section 4.
- Quote individual numbers from the Data with the credit.
- Keep files you downloaded during the term after it ends, for your own reference.
3. What you may not do
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense, publish or give away the Data itself, in whole or in substantial part, in any format, including inside a product your users can query. That is a commercial licence; email hello@betbetter.world.
- Present the Data as your own model, or remove or obscure the credit.
- Share your key, live link or account outside your company, or let more people use it than your plan allows.
- Use the Data to train or fit a model you then sell or publish as a competing feed.
- Scrape, bulk-download beyond the rate limits, or circumvent access controls.
4. Credit (a condition, not a request)
Anything you publish that draws on the Data carries the credit "Model data: Bet Better". Online, the credit links to https://betbetter.world with a normal, followable link. On air or in audio, the words "numbers from the Bet Better model" or equivalent. We check the pages you declared as your publishing locations for the link. Missing credit is a breach; we will tell you once by email and, if it is not fixed within 7 days, the licence ends under section 8 with no refund.
5. Term, plans and renewal
A pilot runs 28 days from payment and does not renew. Monthly and annual licences renew automatically through Stripe until you cancel from your feed page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. A season pass runs for the stated season. A history pack gives 30 days to download the files. Boards added mid-term are prorated by Stripe.
6. Price, payment, no refunds
Prices are in US dollars and shown before you pay; your card is charged in your local currency at Stripe's rate. Taxes are added where the law requires. There are no refunds. The free sample file and the pilot exist so you can decide before you commit. A pilot fee is credited against the first payment of a licence started within 7 days of the pilot ending, once, for the same company.
7. What the Data is, and is not
The Data is the output of statistical models. It is information for your own analysis. It is not advice, not a recommendation to wager, and not a guarantee of any outcome. We do not warrant that it is accurate, complete, timely or profitable, and we may change models, columns, boards, cadence or coverage; material changes appear in the changelog. You are responsible for how you use the Data and for complying with the laws that apply to you and your audience, including advertising and gambling rules where you publish.
8. Ending the licence
We may end the licence immediately, without refund, if you breach sections 3 or 4, if payment fails and is not fixed within 3 days, or if the account is used abusively. You may end a renewing licence at any time from your feed page. On ending, your key stops and section 2.4 applies to files already downloaded.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything arising from the Data or this licence is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or wagering losses. Nothing here excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
10. Privacy and communications
We hold your contact, company and billing details to run the service and send service emails (files, versions, receipts, licence notices). We do not sell them. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
11. General
This licence is governed by the law of Victoria, Australia. If any part is unenforceable the rest stands. We may update this licence for new purchases; the version you accepted stays on your account. Questions: hello@betbetter.world.
